There was a Caplemans Yard in Whitby, (according to Mr Google  ;) )

There was a Caplemans Yard in Whitby, (according to Mr Google  ;) )

At 43/44 Church Street according to:

'Cappelman's Yard' can be seen on the 1852 and 1893 town plans at http://www.old-maps.co.uk/, just south of the Seamen's Hospital.
