"Missing" burials
« on: Wednesday 24 July 13 13:10 BST (UK) »
Hello , i wonder if anyone can help ?   I am trying to find burials for several families , i think all before 1841 as they do not seem to appear on the census .

John Cousins (Cozens) and his wife Elizabeth (nee Yarley )

John Gately and his wife Lydia (nee Yarley)

Christopher Basset and his wife Ede (nee Yarley) .

My main interest is in the Yarley family . Many of the children to the above had Yarley as middle name .  I have checked the NBI as well as FreeREG and FamilySearch and can only find infant Edith Yarley Gately in 1793 at Biggleswade .

I would also like to find a marriage for William Foster to Ida (presumably Yarley ) as his first child was Jane Yarley Foster .

Many thanks for any help / advice .

Gary.

Hi Josey ,
All the marriages and baptisms i have are at Biggleswade or in the area - Old Warden and Southill .

The one i am most interested in is Christopher Basset and his wife Ede - i have a theory that Chris died and Ede then married William Foster - unless i can find at least a death for Chris (before 1798 ) then a thoery it will remain .

Gary.

familysearch shows Sarah Yarley Bassett d/o Christopher & Ede was born 13 Aug 1783 baptised 19 Dec 1783 [you probably already know this] but if you think Christopher Bassett died before 1798, his death must have been between [say] late 1782 & 1798.

Gary

Have you seen the thread at http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,651422.0.html where a Yorkshirelassie was enquiring about Yarley Foster?
