I am looking for information on Richard Newman my great -grandfatherx3 . I know that he was the first husband of Elizabeth Cass of Manuden and they married at Great Hallenbury in 1807 and had a son Henry in 1809 but can find no record of his birth etc. Elizabeth was widowed and in 1839 married William Argent in Waltham Abbey . I really hope that someone who is researching the Cass family or the Argent family or the Newmans of Great Hallenbury can help me to discover further details about Richard .
