I have found that a lot of Derbyshire records are held in other county Archives!~ so check/search engine (Ie ~ Google) online Archives catalogues aswell for Derbyshire also in National Archives at Kew in Richmond near London with give each county online catalogue links

Manchester archives (Odds and sods ~ Stockport & Glossop stuff ~High Peaks)

York Borthwick institute (At York University)

Lichfield Archives near Birmingham (This cover alot of Derbyshire)

West Yorkshire Archives Wakefield (North Derbyshire near Sheffield~old West Riding of Yorkshire border with Derbyshire)

South Yorkshire archives at Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster. (North Derbyshire boundary)

Leigh Archives (Leigh town hall) Lancashire (Glossop area & High Peaks )

Nottingham Archives

Lancashire county Archives in Preston (Derbyshire High Peaks)

Cheshire Archive (Glossop area )
