Just a note to let you know that Ballingdon, although technically in Essex is part of Sudbury.  Ballingdon folk were usually baptised etc at All Saints in Sudbury.

The river Stour is the boundary between the counties, but Ballingdon Street continues over the bridge (so located in Sudbury, but also in Essex  ::)

St Gregory and St Peter being the Sudbury parish churches. However, there are a great many non-conformist churches (I remember visiting all of them on a churches annual bike ride a few years back  ;)

Re Middleton in Essex, a very short distance from Sudbury.

SM ...
Every time I find an ancestor,
I have to find two more!

SUFFOLK - Pendle, Stygall, Pipe, Fruer, Bridges, Fisk, Bellamy, Sparham - all link to  Framlingham
DERBY - Bridges and Frost (originally Framlingham/Parham)
NOTTINGHAM - Lambert & Selby
BERKSHIRE/then Hammersmith LDN - Fulker
LDN/MDX - Murray, Clancy, Broker, Hoskins, Marsden, Wilson, Sale

GGfather Michael Wilson born Cork, lived Fulham London - moved to Boston USA 1889, what happened next?

dear all
many thanks to all those who took the effort to help me in this very important moment in time in my research,,,, I am based in Holland so have to rely heavily on internet resources for my research, but can clearly see that to solve this conundrum I need to make a trip to the Suffolk records office or find a kind soul or employ a researcher to dig pretty dam deep into the archives of old in order unearth the facts surrounding this curious case of the Bocking-Rogers name which haunts me each and every day I awake,,,,,  ???
Whatever happens, I will add any information or facts that may be discovered in the future to this post for future researchers  ;D
all the best to all
Pete  ::)

Hi there, I have been doing a fam tree for a friend of mine, a Ms Rogers. The Rogers I have are from Lavenham Suffolk and end up in Colchester Essex. This tree also has a Keziah, which is what caught my eye in your post. If any of this sounds familiar , please get in touch, would love to share info. Kim

dear all,
I have William Rogers born 07-03-1807 and Chr. 08-04-1807.
The burial entry from Keziah states: buried 24-07-1873, aged 68 which would give a birth year of 1804? Is this 3 year difference something I should be concerned about or something usual with regard to BMD entries from this period?

Its not really a problem as the info on age is only relying on the informants knowledge.
