What about an 1740 birth/marriage between Thomas and Margaret?

There's a marriage in Llandrillo on 9 Jan 1759 for Thomas Jones of Llanarmon and Margaret Roberts of Llandrillo. Thomas and Margaret signed x

Witnesses John Evans and Edward Jones.

Quite a few Thomas Jones baptisms around that time sorry

I've found a marriage license on the NLW for that date and it has Llandrillo-yn-Rhos although that could be a transcription error?

Also, is there any way to get the other details from such as parents' names from a parish record on familysearch? the Llandrillo ones at least just have name of child and date.

Just noticed that 9 April 1776 Corwen there is the same baptism for Thomas Jones, Aberalwen that took place in Llandrillo 9 April 1775 - I presume this is likely to be an error in at least one case?

I suspect the marriage on NLW may be a mis-transcription(though one is Jan 3,the other Jan 9,perhaps different banns).
The main point is that the record Deirdre 784 quoted has Samuel Mytton as the minister,and he is the minister of Llandrillo,Merionethshire-his will is at the National Archives.

Just checked this - the transcription index says 1775 but the actual entry says 1776 (sorry )
