Cheddleton Asylum Football Team
« on: Thursday 08 August 13 08:06 BST (UK) »
Can any person point me in the correct direction as to where I can find out about this football team.

I have a Private, Sidney Graham Creech who was killed in action who appears to have been a footballer for the asylum. He is commemorated on the Asylum war memorial which is now in Cheddleton Church.

regards
Alf

Hello Alf
I don't know anything about the football team, but if you would like a photo of the memorial in Cheddleton Church, I could get that for you.  Let me know
