The 2 marriages are there so you know which Robert is which generation, the tree posted just made me want to double check after finding 2 in the papers; don't think he had a son to confuse the names! It's been brilliant looking

Thank you so much, this has given me so many new avenues to look at, I have tried to check back to what I have found each post you have done and it certainly 'fits'  'Bakewell' comes from or now after what you have found possibly goes to the Hames line..... my direct lines are 'boring' all stayed in England and generally in the Midlands, so looking at branch lines has certainly opened my eyes and opportunities like you have given like Trove......so thank you again..looks like I have some sorting out and more research to do to find out some more, there are also lots of additional clues in this information which could lead me to finding out potential siblings John, Robert B(snr) and Hannah ( Booth's) parents

I am fascinated to find out where the 'Bakewell' fits in especially with Robert Bakewell coming from Dishley, Leicestershire (British agriculturalist)....would be nice to make a connection to him

first link has a Charles Booth of Liverpool, Emily Fletcher then says Hannah Cumberland, there is a marriage registered 1857 Lancs Booth/Cumberland
