Hi everyone , I am totally stuck in trying to find the birthplace of Thomas Andrews born around 1758 . Going by his burial in 1811 age 53 in Duxford Cambs. He married Susannah Wisbey in Duxford 2 november 1779 . There is no record of him born/baptised in Cambs . Could anyone help please ?

There are a few about

Thomas Andrews bap 28th April,1761 to Thomas and Mary, Haddenham, Cambs.
Thomas Andrews bap 31st July, 1756 to Thomas and Grace, Ousden, Suffolk
Thomas Andrews bap 23rd July, 1758 to John and Sarah, Watford, Hert
a few others in Herts which may fit the bill.

According to Boyds marriage index Thomas married Susanna in Whittlesford, not Duxford.

There are so many trees around with Thomas Andrews and Susannah Wisbey / Susanna Wisby

I noticed about 30 different trees and stopped counting, not sure if I have different people though cause some say Susannah Wisbey and some have Susanna Wisby
All the trees have Thomas Andrews as her husband. Some say    Thomas Andrews   Birth 1754 in Whittlesford, Cambridgeshire, England  and some say -     Thomas Andrews  Birth 1758 in Duxford, Cambridgeshire, England
Researching Whitby from England & Australia, Taylor from Scotland & Australia, Norman/Normand from France & Australia. Other last names in my tree Raeburn, Appleby, Ingram, Lynch, Hayes, Baker, Ketley, Newman, Dobson, Holdsworth, Summerill, Summerell.

I would think that without an actual date of baptism they are guessing when/where he was born.  Also as usual they have copied each other  ::)

Thankyou for replying. Yes they are guessing and copying . I could not find him in Cambs neither could the records office or an archivist . Everyone reached the conclusion he originated elsewhere. The whittlesford family did not have a son thomas oh have I checked ! No Thomas in  duxford either.
