I have now found the Baptism of one of his daughters Born Dec 1921.

23/4/1922 Churchdown Parish Church Gloucestershire

Address given as Sandycroft Cottages fathers occupation farm labourer.

I havent yet found the Baptism of Phyliss Josephine born in Jan 1918 it was not in any of the Warwickshire parishes I have looked at her daughter thought it might be Offchurch but no luck there.

To be absolutely positive about his Regt. you will need to see the 1918 Absentee Voter's List for Warwick.

As Jim says - you need to pin down his regiment which is best done by searching Absent Voters List.

If you can't find baptism reg, do you have this birth certificate for daughter Phyliss? That may have his regiment on it, or it will at least give an address to look for Absent Voter info.
