« on: Tuesday 14 June 05 11:45 BST (UK) »
Hi,I am hoping that someone will be able to decipher this for me.It appears in the index of a death certificate and i am wondering if it's anything relevant or just happened to be there next to my relative!.The man in question died of "disease of the bladder"if that's of any help..Hope i have managed to make it big enough to see!Any ideas will be welcomed as i have tried all sorts but can't make a proper sentence out of this!!!Thank You!

Hi Florence

Does it say something like "column six ........... letter inserted"  ???

So, in column six he has inserted a "letter" and has made a note of the amendment as he was required to do  ???

Hi,
I reckon the last word on the first line is "insulin". I'll keep studying it though

On second thoughts I think Casalguidi is correct. You wouldn't find medical info on an index.

Hi, thanks for your replies.I am inclined to agree with Casalguidi as there was an alteration in the spelling of one of the words in column six.I missed that as i was trying to read the word "six" as "sister"....I notice you're a Hicks too...do you have any from Wigmore???(never one to miss an opportunity!)
