Hi,

Found a marriage for same couple, 12 October 1820 at St. Andrew, Holborn..............not exactly Surrey!

Witnesses:  William Baker and Mary Relfe (?).

Bride and groom both shown "of this parish".

There is a marriage for a William Baker and Rhoda Mares, 27 January 1820, St. Andrew, Farnham......possibly a slip when transcribing.  :-\

Hi

Confusing, isn't it  ???  ::)  ;D

Looking at the film that the record states it was transcribed from, 374370 (look further down the drop-down information on the record), it is in a run of film numbers relating to St Andrew's, Holborn, Middlesex:

https://familysearch.org/search/catalog/78851?availability=Family%20History%20Library

To search using film numbers, click on "CATALOG" near the top of the page; under "Search for" click "Film Numbers" and enter the film number in the box; then click on the heading and it brings up the page I've attached as a link.

Wow thank you so much for your help!

So it is Holborn - that's amazing because the people I mentioned in my first thread are from my dad's side, it is also a place where many of my ancestors from my mum's side as well!! They could have met each other on the street around 1800s, not knowing their future descendants are married to each other!
