If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

i have noticed that and i cant seem to find him on the 1911 census either

my Nan his daughter can not give much information on him as she was very young when he died as he was a lot older than his second wife ( my great grand mother)

Look for Jane Onell or George Onell in 1911 for them (we can't put details from 1911 here)

I see a death in 1919 which I assume is Jane's
