Irishseeker,
Maiden surnames would really have helped narrow down specific families. However, what I did manage to find was quite a few burial records in among the Cambusnethan Cemetery records that appear to be entries for Stane Cemetery. Looking at my original post in August last year, you will see that North Lanarkshire Council only hold 1 Day Book for Stane and that is for Public Ground, in other words, paupers burials. The Council also hold Lair Owners Books and Section Books but no other Day Books. These were more or less diaries of burials each day as they were carried out. It looks as though the gravediggers from Cambusnethan looked after Stane too and used the Cambusnethan Day Books to cover both.
All of the following entries (apart from the first one) have "STANE" in the margin before the name of the deceased, so I am assuming that they are all buried at Stane.
This first entry is definitely for Cambusnethan cemetery, it was a burial in Common Ground.
All dates are of burial.
