Thomas had the following siblings who were all baptised (dates below) in the same church in Duns Tew;
John 28 Dec 1812
Joseph 29 Jan 1815
Thomas 1817
Mary 14 Nov 1819
then quite a gap and along comes
Samuel Charles 25 March 1827.

William Matthews married 10 Feb 1812 at Duns Tew to Sarah ARIS after banns. They were both otp.

Witnesses were; Hannah ARIS and Mary ARIS.

I do not see a baptism in the village for Sarah and the only close one for William is a William MATTAS s o James and Jessinee baptised on 25 Feb 1787 but that IS speculation!!
