Welch Coach Manufactory, Nantwich.
« on: Tuesday 14 June 05 18:20 BST (UK) »
I am interested in the history of the Welch Coach Manufactory of 19 pillory Street Nantwich in the 19th and early 20th century. Photographs, adverts. etc.
In the 1860's to 1880's it was run by William and Henry Welch and they employed family, and in the 1913 trade Directory a Henry Welch carriage maker is at that address.
I have the families on the 1861-1891 census, but am particularly interested in when the business was founded, and trade adverts etc. or contacting anyone related to the Welch,'s.
Many thanks
Sheila  :) :)
