« on: Sunday 25 August 13 00:43 BST (UK) »
Hello
new to roots so not sure if I'm posting request correct ??

I need  the parish records for Kerry Montgomeryshire Wales but have searched the net with no luck anyone know where I can either buy or download records I need them to cover 1700's early 1800's so that I can get past my brick wall

I saw on here someone named Victor Harvey reply to another user asking about Kerry but not sure how or if I could contact him as it was a old posting

Regards

Hello

Welcome from me also  :)

In addition to the link that William gave, some/most of the records are on the FindMyPast website in their Parish Records section:

http://www.findmypast.co.uk/content/search-menu/life-events-bmds

Select the 'parish option' - parish births; parish burials; parish marriages.

These not only give indexed transcriptions but also images from the original entries in the registers.

It's a subscription/pay as you go site.

The site can also be accessed via the FamilySearch website - in the UK and Ireland pages:

https://familysearch.org/search/collection/list#page=1&region=UNITED_KINGDOM_IRELAND

Scroll down until you get to the Montgomeryshire records  or go direct:

https://familysearch.org/search/collection/2075048

Hope this helps.

PS - some of us have our own collection of records from Montgomeryshire and might be able to help.  You could try posting a query about your ancestors on the Mongomeryshire look up board:
