Squire Moore Yorks/durham 1861-91

Hello all....Am looking for this character who I know was born about 1832 we think in West Yorks, was on 1841 , 51, 61 Census's as unmarried. In 1871 in appears in Middlesborough married to Jane. No record of a marriage as yet! Possib ly dies 1876.....thoughts please

I can't really see what you hope to get in addition though.

with the Stepkids named Shaw in 1871, you have Jane's previous married name - to get her Maiden name, obtain a childs Birth Cert.

However, I suspect it wont help, as 'Squire' doesnt appear in any of the Marriage Indices ....

The dates don't quite add up, as why would William be a step child? Perhaps the marriage never went ahead

Also, no matching GRO entry - so maybe Banns but no Marriage ?

Certainly shown as single in 1861 ....

1881 shows Jane as a widow, there is a married daughter living with her who didn't appear on the 1871. She could be of help to trace back as to who exactly Jane (mother) was -
