Ann Figget (HALS), Higget on Family Search and Find My Past is 'of Westmill' on the marriage entry of 3rd December 1753 Westmill to Skeggs Grey of Royston. On Skegg's 2nd marriage 7th May 1774 he is 'of Furneux Pelham', a widower and a farmer. I have tried, with no success so far to find any records of a Figget/Higget family in Westmill or the surrounding area. If anyone has any knowledge of the family of Figget/Higget before 1753 in Hertfordshire, of Ann, born c. 1720 and died before 1774 or Skeggs Grey I would be very grateful to hear from them. Ann is a brickwall at the moment! Thankyou.
