posted a photograph of a tank 6 months ago cant find the link to this .their was a bit of debate on this photo have been trying to find the names of the men as atleast 1 of them is a family member ive had no luck with that but after searching came across a great old film could this be the same tank regards david. http://ssa.nls.uk/film.cfm?fid=1238B&cid=97493497

I would say it is definitely the same Tank  (Julian no 113)- part of the War Bonds Tank Bank fund-raising team of tanks.

At the very end of that film you can see where the number 113 is painted in exactly the same place although I can't see anything written underneath as you have in this picture...perhaps that was a later addition)

thanks for all these great links very interesting to watch just wish i could put the names to the faces two of them look as if their related as they look very similar the only other thing could add to this is theirs a Scottish connection .sure if i could get some names connected to this tank maybe would be able to find the link to the photo of unknown family  regards David

while iv had been researching this photo and got the names of the faces on this photographs i have turned my researching on trying to find Sgt johnstone and any army records ,thro family was able to name him as Hans was has only a family nickname as cant find any thing on a Hans johnstone in the tank corps wondering if any rootschatter could help with this his wife would of been called Hanna her maiden name would of been Costello and they lived in newcastle haven't gotten any certs for the marriage or death for Sgt johnstone and his wife Hanna Costello kind regards David.
