"Hi Pettsy,  Just been on the ww1 site on Rootschat...seems like the only Munn they could find was  a James Munn army Royal Scots  (27) died Flanders France...6/11/18,  and Walter Munn... Army,  Died Dandanelles 3/1/1916.    James, John, Thomas seem to run in the Munn family .. Walter I'm not so sure. Good luck with your search.
Myyran."

What "they" actually did was to give you some ideas for research which is what you asked for. By all means give up but you're hardly in a position to tell someone that it doesn't look like there were four brothers when you've not given anyone else a chance to respond. It's taken me just ten minutes to find five Munns from Old Kilpartick who died.

There were 86 people with the surname Munn killed in WW1:

I'm sure you can look yourself & see where they lived.

Clarence died Oct 1966 ,date of birth 29.6.1895  ,address 13323 Clinton Oneida New York.

If you look on www.fultonhistory.com, there are obituaries for Clarence and his wife Margaret, as well as other articles mentioning them.  Clarence's obit says he was born in Bradford, Yorkshire, England, came to Clarks Mills in 1913, was a WWI vet, and left a brother Ernest of Clinton.
