« on: Tuesday 10 September 13 14:28 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I was hoping someone would be able to help me find any information about John Roberts?
I would be happy with any new information like Siblings, Parents, Death date etc.

This is the information i have already:

-Born about 1844 in Llandrillo, Merionethshire, Wales
-Possibly married Catherine Jones (b.1840)
-Had a son Llewellyn Ronal Roberts (b. 23 May 1878 in Llandrillo) He is my 3rd Great Grandfather.

Thanks for any information, Ben

Hi

Pen(n)ant is a small settlement to the south of Llandrillo itself. The house name was Ty Croes and the settlement was Pen(n)ant.  I've shown roughly were it is on this map:

Translated fron the Welsh - Pen means head and Nant is a  gorge ( often with a stream running through),
