problem with 'sharing' on ancestry
« on: Thursday 12 September 13 08:22 BST (UK) »
is anyone else having problems using the 'invite' or 'share your tree' link on ancestry?
I have sent an email to them - guess what - no reply!
i go to Tree pages - click on 'share your tree - and nothing happens.
If i go to 'tree pages' then 'tree settings' and 'sharing'  the 'manage invitees' page comes up and the 'invite people' box .i click on that and just get a message saying invite to........but nothing else
hoping for som insight

If I go to Tree Settings, and the Sharing tab, I get a screen with a button that says "Invite People".

Clicking on that brings up a screen "Invite to xxxxx Family Tree", with buttons marked:
Email           Using that I can enter email addresses
Username    Using that I can enter Ancestry user names

I am using Ancestry.co.uk

Maybe it's a problem with ShockWave, Flash, or whatever Ancestry wants to use for graphics?! ::)

This is what I get:

I then click on Email?!

Or, if I know someone is on Ancestry, I click on User Name?!
