It's a funeral notice... not a death notice.

I am getting confuddled here...May I please ask why you know this is your Sarah's descendant when the notices dont give you those elusive  names and theres that distance between Brisbane and the Gold Coast

Morag Ramsay Norton (nee McQueen) was my grandfather's daughter from his first marriage. She married a Norton (presumably alive). Then immigrated to Australia in 1959.

Sorry about this. I should have split the 2 questions into 2 threads. I am a little confused at the moment myself.

I wrote:
1. Sarah Ramsay MacQueen (nee Kirkhope) last known address in 38/5 Toormina Place, Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia in 1980. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1907 and moved to live with her daughter sometime after 1963. (She divorced 1963). She has then disappeared. The names with her on the electoral role from 1980 could be family.

Her parents names are Thomas Best Kirkhope and Sarah Ramsay.
Sarah Ramsay Kirkhope had a daughter Morag Ramsay McQueen (married name: Norton) with Andrew Rankin McQueen.

I hope this clears it up a bit.
