Wesleyan Methodist burial in Wells
« on: Tuesday 17 September 13 16:09 BST (UK) »
Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me the most likely place someone of the Wesleyan Methodist religion would have been buried in Wells.  I know he lived and worked in Sadler Street Wells and died there in 1891. We are planning a trip down to Somerset next weekend and I was hoping to be able to locate his grave. Would St Cuthbert's cemetery be a good place to start??

Any help much appreciated

Eve  :)

Probably in the cemetery on Portway. http://goo.gl/maps/NJFHf
A non-conformist is unlikely to have been buried in a Church of England church yard.
