She was buried 4th Feb 1844, St Hilda's, aged 79
The images from the BTs are on Family Search

Sorry, I meant to say how I found it.

First I searched on Family Search using her name and specified a burial in 1844, England, Durham. The transcription for that
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/JCW1-HZR  told me it was St Hilda 4th Feb 1844, page 229, entry no 41

If you look at the Durham Diocese Bishops Transcripts on Family Search, to browse the images, there are two datasets  for St Hilda's. One is billed as South Shields, St Hilda and that dataset doesn't cover 1844.
The other one is just called St Hilda and does cover the right time frame and its in there. The time frame for that dataset is 1840-1848 and there are 482 pages so I started at page 250 (about half way) and went back a few pages.
I feel it helps if we say 'how' we find things as well as giving the answer.

Hi,
just like to thank you for that information I am very grateful for that.
Now I was wondering if there are many gravestones still in the churchyard?
Jane Dobson,s husband is buried in St Mary,s churchyard Gateshead, and the inscription on the stone is still good to read.

Sorry, I have no idea about which gravestones are still in existence in St Hilda's. NDFHS sell a booklet with MIs for St Hildas , perhaps a look up request may find someone who has access to a copy ?

Looking at the aerial view it does not look as though there are any gravestones still in the churchyard
