I did laugh at the 'lodger' comment  ;D ;D ;D

If it is the right John H,then as he didn't have any children with Susan he must have been saving up all his......err....energies to have the two from 1932 to 1937!

Ada would be in her mid thirties when she married -so it wasn't exactly a teenage girl marrying a granddad - maybe they both wanted children

Maybe Ada went to work at the boarding house -also Susan left a considerable amount of money to John - so John might have been considered to be a "catch"

Marriage cert def needed on this one

Thornhill, Cresswell, Sisson, Harriman, Cripps, Eyre, Walter, Marson, Battison, Holmes, Bailey, Hardman, Fairhurst Noon-mainly in Derbys/Notts-but also Northampton, Oxford, Leics, Lancs-England

Thank you for looking and for the information.. I have the Groves family  Ada's son son John Henry Kinsman Groves who was born 10 March 1919 in  Christchurch died in Neath in 1997.
John Henry Kinsman Groves 1919 ?? yes she later married a John H Kinsman, probably John Henry Kinsman who ran Heathercliffe Boarding House as his wife died 22 Sep 1930...
I have checked for any John H Kinsman but did not consider any prior to 1880..
I think that it will be him but as previously mentioned  certificate needed.
Yes looks like twins but the other one may be alive so I have not stated his name
Thanks again
