George MADDOX marriage to Elizabeth DAVIES

Does anyone have anymore information on the above marriage?  4th quarter 1918 Forden District.  I would like to know George's fathers name if possible please.

Did he died in Montgomeryshire?  There is a George Maddox death in September qtr 1938 Welshpool and he was 51 so birthyear c 1886/87

I am aware that the information would be on the marriage certificate but I was hoping if someone else had got the couple on their tree they may share the information with me.  As I am sure you are aware it does get expensive buying all the certificates.
Yes I have those death and birth dates information.  I was trying to confirm this marriage is the same George Maddox.

Not sure if Newtown, Powys has any Parish Registers for Forden. A day out to either Llandrindod Wells or Aberystwyth. Shropshire Archives have a collection of the Montgomeryshire Genealogical Society Publications, which has Forden, sorry not 100% what it contains on BMD and dates. But It has MI transciptions.
Rupert1965 comes to the same conclusion that they were from Chirbury. But it is proving difficult to get further back.
