I wasn't aware of Joseph T. KYNE.
Also, Annie may have gone by the name of Hanna.

KYNE, Alfred

I belief Alfred's father was Abraham KYNE (may have been spelled KINE at one time). Possible name of Abraham's mother
was ARNO.  Abraham was born or lived in Devon before travelling to London.

In 1849 in London, of interest, there is the death of Abraham KYNE and a Charles William Arno Kyne.  Wonder if these two
were brothers ???

Are Martin & Thomas KYNE sons of John B. KYNE?

And did Thomas KYNE marry Florence Emma MARTIN
in the Clerkenwell/Holborn area.

Did John B. marry Caroline had was their oldest child named John KYNE.

Isn't that interesting that if Thomas married a Martin and had a brother by the name of Martin.  So the question of the day is what were the trial & tribulations of Martin E. KYNE after leaving Little Corun Street, or did he?

As a red herring or just another Kyne tidbit, how does one
Peter B. Kyne fit into the Kyne saga.  His book
"The Cappy Ricks Special" was published by
Hodder & Stoughton, London, 1937.

Could this be Elizabeth Rebecca HEMS, married to Alfred KYNE
in 1853 at Saint Botolph Without Aldersgate.  If yes,
what happened between 1854 and 1862, or did the marriage take place in 1863? ???

Yes John B did marry Caroline and John was not their first child he was their 3rd. Thomas J did marry Florence E Martin. Thomas's brother's middle name was Martin not his first name.

Is there any connection with your Kynes and mine?

Re: KYNE London to Dartmouth, Devon or Galway, Ireland
« Reply #8 on: Friday 17 June 05 05:18 BST (UK) »
I don't know how the different London Kyne branches are connected.  My branch is the Alfred & Elizabeth R. branch.

I believe Alfred's father was Abraham Kyne aka Kine
from Dartmouth, Devon.  Likely the one that died in 1849.

What would be of great assistance in the mix and match
routine would be to see how they are distributed in the 1851 or 1861 Census.

Also, to determine if Abraham & Charles William Arno Kyne are brothers.

Four key names in 1901 to try and match or trace:
Alfred - 69, Benjamin - 64, Charles - 62 & James - 76.
We should start by tracing then to 1881 and 1871
then back to 1861 and 1851

If we step back to 1881 w can add John & John B. KYNE
all born in the 1860"s/

Of significant interest is the case of the unmarried needlewoman residing at the Gt. Mays Bldg.
She was born about 1821 in Dartmouth. Devon.
Eliza KYNE.

So, the important issue for the many branches is
how is the Dartmouth, Devon branches connected
to the Galway, Ireland families ???
