I thought Earth as well, cant find any reference to a marriage between William Coulson and Sarah Earth on line though

Do you have the family in the 1841 (or 51) census? Just wondering if they have any earlier children to perhaps get an idea when William and Sarah may have married.

Well the good news is that there appears to be a place called Elm in Cambridgeshire.

I have found John Coulson on the 1861 census, he's in Chesterfield. but i cant find the family at all on the 1841 or 1851 census
