Two of the births show at FreeBMD; the others are shown at Ancestry.

Search for Kelly births in Southwark with mother Williams after 1950.
(I'm a little uncomfortable with this much detail.)
There isn't another marriage that easily accounts for them.

I think the marriage had to wait until after the first wife's death.
(Roman Catholic by any chance?)
I imagine there was just a separation, given that his electoral roll residence changed.

If Christina and William were close, perhaps William's children (if they are his children) would have known her.

Just found this 1964, 19b Delverton road

George W R Kelly and Rachel A Kelly, staying with an English couple presumably Christinas son and daughter (in law) :D

Janey should have said earlier Georges family were Church of Ireland.

A wee update, today I found the marriage of George William Robert Kelly to Irene Elizabeth Gibson in Calcutta in 1940,from the India Office family search.
His given status is soldier and his father Joseph. His age at marriage tallies with his DOB.
This seems to be my great uncle.
 :)

Updates always appreciated! Well done and that certainly fills in a blank.

Now i wonder whether George's children with second wife (the births that seem to relate, mentioned earlier) would have known or known of their aunt Christina ...
