Thanks a lot, this hopefully proves my theory that they were both married to the same man. Amelia first , then after her death - Jessica / Jessie.

is the ? not recorded or just not readable .

I've just seen a lot about them on RootsWeb - just Google his name.

The ? was not recorded, though the Roots Web info seems to think both are E's daughters.

Thanks. I have seen about him , but now am trying to solve the mystery of a Llewellyn Lloyd , also  known later as L. L.  Tench. In all census records he doesn`t seem to know where he was born, and is entered as a nephew to Edward Tench and Jessie.
He was born c 1845, goodness knows where ?
Was he the illegitimate child of Jessie born while Edward and Amelia were still married.
Other people were trying to solve this  quite a while ago, but new resources have come online since then.

I've been reading through the other threads on this - complicated!

I had a look at old newspapers for the names,& found hundreds for Edward, mainly in his civic

capacity,& a letter of thanks from Jessica for condolences received on his death. There was one

ref to him having "a benign countenance!"

Llewellyn is mentioned only attending events, including the 1867 Wrexham Flower Show where its

noted he was with Mr Davies, Llwynonn.

Thought these might be of interest if you hadn't already seen them. No clues otherwise, though.
