Holy Trinity, Bordesley burials
« on: Thursday 10 October 13 15:10 BST (UK) »
Hi

I have a 3rd gt grandfather who was buried here on 17 Nov 1850.

Are there any MIs anywhere which might relate to this church?

I understand that some of the remains were removed during road widening works and also headstones removed when the church was deconsecrated in 1970.

Thanks in anticipation ...

I can't help you with your request for burials at the Holy Trinity Church, but this picture might explain some of the reasons.

May have been an unmarked grave or if there was a gravestone, it had worn away when the MI records were compiled.

Have you checked ancestry to see if the burial record is listed under the new release of data records for the Birmingham area?

hi

Thanks, Yes I have found his burial on Ancestry.  There is a number on the register but the number appear to be consecutive so im not sure what this is for,  It may be probable that he was buried in an unmarked grave or like you say his headstone has worn away.
