Rootschat isn't a forum for tracing living relatives and we aren't allowed to post details of anyone who might still be alive (as in the case of the 2 people in your post). There are suggestions for tracing living relatives in the help pages (link at top of page).

Are you sure of the spelling of his name as he dosent show on the birth index for Ireland so he's probably not Irish, have you or do you know of Irish connections for your nan.

Hi,
I can find two householders called Trott in the mid 19th centuary, one in Co. Longford and one in Co. Down. The 1911 census gives 20 Trott names, mostly in Co. Longford. I can also find three marriages of Trott females in Co. Antrim inthe early 1900s.

Regards
Stewart, Irwin, Morrison, Haslett, Murrell - Dungiven area Co. Londonderry
Browne, Barrett -Co.Armagh
Neil, Smyth _Co. Antrim

It could be that his birth was registered another another name or the date and place are not correct but since he's likely still alive we are unable to post any details here.

I am presuming from your post that your Nan's maiden name was TROTT

There are two births in the UK of a John TROTT with the mother's name also TROTT
There are four more with a different surname

Bearing in mind rules on privacy there are just two UK births of an Andrew TROTT in the year stated and looking up marriages of the maiden name with the TROTT surname the father is a John A (marriage in 1970) - if these records are correct the family is UK based and possibly still alive
