There's something odd going on with this Vicar.
There are a number of entries for boys that all have surnames for middle names.
None of the girls are listed like that & no normal middle names are listed for anyone.
A couple are illegitimate but the others are to couples.
On the same page as Thomas Farr:
John Cotton s. of Jas. & Cath. Green
John Atkins s. of Wm. & Gracie Taylor pauper
John Sergeant s. of Hannah Holloway pauper
Geo. Taylor spurious s. of Martha Brooks pauper
This practice is peculiar to this Vicar during his tenure
