The S.S. Archtor was lost after it passed Cape Henry Norfolk Virginia, Please were there any newspaper reports or were there any bodies recovered. 24 were lost on this ship.

You can try searching on www.fultonhistory.com.  All of the newspaper mentions just seem to say that it was missing and how much cargo it had.
