I'm looking for any info concerning a Jane Caldecott who may have been born in Shocklach Cheshire in c 1798 please.

This couple are described as coming from Chorlton in the township in Malpas. If that helps.

One of the witnesses was called Ann Caldecott.

The only other one I can find is a Jane Caldecot bapt 25th August 1805 at St. Mary, Tilston, parents Josuah & Charlotte. Bit young for the 1819 marriage, but she could be bapt. a few years after birth.

Thanks Colin,you see the problem I have is having searched for a possible marriage of a William Lea to a Jane this seems the more likely one.Jane is given as born in Shocklach Cheshire in c 1798 in later Census entries.I'd be most grateful for the name of the other witness please?
