    Had a fantastic response from Janette.cannot praise her enough.through her efforts.have found a probate record.its in the Archives New Zealand .Dunedin Office. R2210167.SAYS.
Agency DAFG. Series 9069 .box 274 record 637/80.there is a link.hope have correct.

R22101674 Archives .New Zealand Dunedin Office.he died in 1980.
 there is a will.
