Hi im researching the alderton side of my family tree at the moment .and i think i have found my 5x great grandparents  marriage .it says william alderton of the parish of binsted in the county of southhampton marrying kezia stapeley of this parish (frensham st marys surrey )

ive found two binsteads one in hampshire and one on isle of white .im wondering which one it is ?

With the mention of Southampton, it looks as if it is the Hampshire one rather than the one on the Isle of Wight.

I would agree with groom - Binsted, Hants is only about 5 miles, as the crow flies, from Frensham.
