1901, 1911 and Guiness Archive indexes added to Ancestry.

Same index as the National Archives, (complete with unresolved errors!)

The censuses have been free on the http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/ website for ages.
So don't let Ancestry charge you for looking at them  ;D
Census information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

Yes, but if your tree is uploaded to Ancestry (which is free), its nice to be able to attach the "Web" record - which is also free...

Oh, and if you are aware of errors in the National Archives index, you can INSTANTLY (and for free!) add your correction to Ancestry - unlike the National Archives site, where user corrections made (on the day the Census was originally uploaded!) are STILL not incorporated!

...this aspect of the nationalarchives site does continue to be most frustrating for many of us, like you, who notified transcription errors back in the early days.

Take the chap on the left of this post!  The 1st ever secretary of Bohemians Football Club, and 1st ever secretary of the Leinster Football Association (the pre-cursor to the modern-day FAI)! A historic figure some might say!  But forever to be known on the National Archives website as Dually Hussey!  Dually!  Is that even a name???  ::)

Did you navigate to new/updated records? It's under 'Ireland' there.  Or if you leave 'All Countries' there its the 4th and 5th ones down.  Only uploaded yesterday

I have found a few Census records missing from Ancestry.  These were records instantly available on the census website, but upon extensive searching on the Ancestry search function, using every spelling available, they simply don't appear.  Ancestry seem to have missed a few.
Co.Dublin - Connor, Martin, Reilly, Roche

Co.Laois - Brennan, Cobbe, Curran, Quearney

Co.Wexford - Kavanagh, Louth, Toole

Co.Wicklow - Booth, Byrne, Franklin, Kearney, Keddy, Murphy, Turner, Waldron, Woods

Hampshire, UK - Hayter, Heady, Nutley, Pullen
