Modify button in some forums - where'd it go?

The modify button seems to have disappeared at least in the Canada forum and subforum. Why? And will it be put back?

I think on most forums now, you can only modify for the first 24 hours, after that you need to ask a Mod to do it for you.

Did that change recently. I seem to recall modifying posts well after 24 hours had past before. That's doesn't seem very helpful for people who want to mark a thread as completed or to remove incorrect information.

In the last few months I think. I believe it was changed as people were altering or removing posts which meant that later posts often didn't make sense.

Hi'ya,

We changed to some new software in December 2012 that now only allows uses to edit their own posts for 24 hours, after this posts can only be edited by a Moderator. To contact a moderator about any post just click on the "report to moderator" button that is on every post
