Well, the John Burns who died in 1875 was 8 years old, so neither father nor son.
(I don't know where Manor Park is.)

FreeBMD is easy to check.

But there still just isn't a Sus* Burns birth to match daughter Susie in any way!
John Burns birth reg in March quarter 1871 in Mile End would be a possible.

The John and Susannah in 1881 in Liverpool match this household in 1851 in Liverpool:

Susan Burns, 37, wife, mariner's wife, born Liverpool
John Burns, 36, head, 36, "ditto", born in Liverpool
Margaret, 16
James, 12
John, 9

so that one in 1881 seems less likely to be yours.

Manor Park was used for east London burials.

I don't think this Burns family is one I can win,
thanks for all your comments .

But one last kick at the can. ;)

1841 census, Liverpool

Michael Burns, 30, labourer, born Scotland
Emily Burns, 35, born Scotland
John, 2, born Scotland
Mary, 6 days, born in county

And this was just what I was wondering about because I worked on someone's query some time ago where the various Irish/English spellings of the name were in issue:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/NV7M-1YW

Name:    John Byrnes
Gender:    Male
Christening Date:    14 Apr 1839
Christening Place:    St Anthonys, Liverpool, Lancashire, England
Birth Date:    08 Apr 1839
Father's Name:    Micheal
Mother's Name:    Emily Fitzgerald
Batch Number:    C02319-4

Emily Fitzgerald and Michael Burn are on the list of marriages in Manchester for December quarter 1837 (phew, good of them to have waited for registration!).

Two possible births reg reg June quarter 1839 Liverpool:
John Byrnes and John Burns.

Same for the daughter in June quarter 1841:
Mary Burns and Mary Byrne.

Problem still is that we don't actually know what you know about these people and what the interest is in them particularly. I'm suspecting it is just on spec because of the combination of surnames in the marriage, or you do know where Mary Driscoll fits into a family of interest, but not John Burns.

So from that perspective, I see how John doesn't fit: he doesn't seem to be connected with the local Burns family you are interested in.

Maybe this info explains him.

Janey , you are very good.

The marriage certificate of John Burns, was a error on my part many  years ago, but two points on it, Forest Terrace Poplar and Michael Burns have connections for me.

It would have been nice find more.
