So is it only John born about 1865 that was born in Ireland?

I can't find any birth registration for a John Carson born in Ireland in 1890s  :-\

Have you found the family in 1901 census in Scotland?

Strange- I searched for John Carson in civil registration index then narrowed it down by decade. Wonder if LDS database is playing up again.

In any case, one would think the family either in Ireland or Scotland in 1901. Off to do some more searching...

I've tried searching RootsIreland but while I can get matches for John Carson with a father called John I can't get any matches when I put in Stirling.
Can't get any matches for Jessie with father John.
Could Jessie be short for Jessica, not that I could find anything for that either.
