Essex marriage check please - 1825 - Independent
« on: Thursday 16 June 05 20:31 BST (UK) »
Hello

Are the Independent church records kept at the Records Office?  If so may I ask for a check on this IGI item please.

James CANT married Ann LILLY
Marriage:  25 DEC 1825   Wormingford, Essex

It may not be independent but on the usual Anglican records - family legend has it that there were many non-conformists on this side of the family.

Many thanks

Hello Clincher

Thank you very much indeed. That is great.

We're assuming that the Stoke referred to is Stoke by Nayland which is just up the road from Wormingford.

Regards
