SelDen:  I have now checked the 1851 census for Frances King and she was born in North Shields and not Alnwick, so we know now this is a different Frances.

Hi Lydiann, Adam Gibson' s brother James, my GGgrandfather , was married at Paxton Toll House June 22 1832. Obviously an irregular marriage. I did not find this on web,but have a copy of the original handwritten paper. This might help with Adam.
