Can anyone help with finding the birth of Ellen Pute census recors say she was born manchester along with her brother George .Around 1871 but could be earlier or later.She lived with samuel pute who was supposed to be her father and Harriet nee williams her mother in Liverpool.I have all info except her birth or baptism and George pute seems to be the same problem no birth record. Can anyone help?

Hi,

Harriet Mary Williams was a spinster when she married Samuel Pute in 1874 so Ellen & George were probably born as Williams & not Pute.

There is a George Henry Williams registered Chorlton in 1865

Hi,
there is a Harriet Pute in Ford Cemetery grave 1A 135.
She died in Liverpool workhouse Liverpool 3 aged 63 years. she was interred on 10/3/1910.
others in the same private grave are surname Ward.
hope this is of some help.

Smith, Parfrey, Corrigan, Conway, White (Cork. Ire)
