Hi, I dont know whether this is still relevant to you, as it is a while since you posted on this forum, but I have birth information on both Ellen and George Pute, who were my grandmother and great uncle respectively. They were born in Manchester in 1870/1872 but were registered under the name Williams, their mother's maiden name, as Harriet didn't marry Samuel Pute until 1874.
