"Cooke" 1832 London birth look up please

Hi,

I would like as much info on the following.

           *****Ellen Marina Cooke*****

I have gone through about 10 official documents and this is what I have come up with.

Born 1832 in London

Father....................... Joseph  Frederick  Cooke....Butcher


Witnesses and info on her marriage cert in 1852 :-

Joseph Frederick Cooke....could be her bro as dad was dead by 1852.
Mary Anne Cooke......sister or mum.


Her death cert here in Australia mentions Ellen was from Camden Town,London.

Cannot help with Ellen's birth but have you seen this death ref in free BMD?
  Dec 1850 COOKE  Joseph Frederick     St Pancras  1 263

The St Pancras Registration District covers Camden Town so this could be Ellen's father.  The death certificate would give you an address which you could then use to get a look up in the 1851 census which would, in turn, give you a better picture of the family.  I am, of course, assuming that you have not got the 1851 census details using the address on Ellen's marriage certificate.

This seems to fit in well with my records.

Fred was dead when Ellen got married in 1852 and she was married at the St.Pancrass church in the Parish of St.Pancrass.

Her 1852 marriage certificate just shows St.Pancrass as her "Residence" and nothing else.

All these clues are adding up.
