"Edward Lynn" returned from Queensland
« on: Thursday 07 November 13 21:57 GMT (UK) »
I am after information on "Edward Lynn"  mother "Sarah Lynn (Mckee) from Evishanoran

He was with his mother in Evishanoran in the 1911 census in Ireland, but in Queensland in 1918 as a farmer. He returned to Ireland in 1920.

But no record of him after that he may have stayed in Ireland or went abroad again.

The revaluation records show the farm (plot 9ab) passing from Edward to Terence Lynn in 1914. Can’t help you with what later happened to Edward but here’s a couple of probate records that appear to refer to his mother and his brother:

Full Abstract :
Lynn Sarah of Evishanoran county Tyrone widow died 27 January 1925 Administration Londonderry 23 March to Thomas Lynn farmer. Effects £3.

Full Abstract :
Lynn Terence of Evishanoran Pomeroy county Tyrone farmer died 16 August 1936 Administration Londonderry 9 December to reverend Joseph Aloysius Lynn clerk in Holy orders. Effects £45 10s.

Both died intestate. Their probate files should be in PRONI, Belfast but are not on-line yet. They might make mention of where Edward was.
