Richard George Perkins - Royal Marines

Morning all,

I know my great grandfather, Richard George Perkins (born May 1911, Cardiff) served with the Royal Marines in WW2 and come next February I'll be able to send off for his full war service record (as he'll have been deceased 25 yrs) 

I still need to find out his actual service number etc. Where can I go to find this out?
